Pricing question on Taurus 09 1911...

Hello,
I can buy one of these (I'm fairly certain that it's used) with 4 mags for $500 even, or I can send an offer. Is that a good price? I looked it up but my search was inconclusive. How much would you pay for one? Thanks
 
Not terrible espeically with the extra mags but I personally wouldn't buy any taurus in my life except their Taurus Judge revelover. I've heard too many horror stories about all the rest of the Taurus offerings including their 1911's. I would get a Ruger 1911 for $550-625 or even a Tisas for $400 or under before a Taurus 1911. I don't actually think it's a great deal though considering it's used and you can find them new for $450-$500. Taurus does not have a great reputation. Look at reviews left by their customers or youtube vids with all the problems people have with them. They have a descent warrenty i think but i've heard of people just sending them back again and again from problems with them.I wouldn't want one unless at a super cheap price. I will say this for their 1911 they are good looking guns. But alot of cheap knives from China look good also be severly lack in quality and performance.

Thank you, just what I was looking for. I knew Taurus wasn't great, but I will look into those other brands
