Pricing question

I'm looking at getting a Kanetsune knife. At first I didn't think they looked all that great, or they were some kind of knock-off brand. But I did alot of reading and alot of looking and now I really want one.

My question is, why are there small and simple knives nearly $450, while there larger and more popular blades not even half of that price?

For example:

Both Damascus, but the smaller blade is nearly 4X the price! Why?

The $460.99 knife has a 7.09" blade and a more difficult to make sheath and hilt while the $132.99 knife has a 4.73" blade and a somewhat simpler to make sheath and hilt. I think that you have it backwards.

Oh my, I didn't even look at that. That first knife looks like it would be SMALLER, not bigger. I just assumed it was smaller.

I need to go back to reading comprehension haha. That means it is over 12" long...wow. It definetly looks like it would be smaller than that.
