Welcome to the free market. More than likely, it was a matter of the right buyer at the right time. Anyone willing to send the buyer a question on why he was willing to pay so much?
 
I saw that too.

I think the seller changed his mind.

IMO, $230 was too much for a three inch blade.

I didn't pay that much for my BM 45. :D

No. I watched that auction, and it ended with no bids. It'll come back, as he constantly put those thing up on occasion.
 
Yeah it gets sort of weird at times Tony????? I saw that one too, but I do think it just depends on "timing" and "luck" at times. Good question though..., I've wondered the same on many Bali-Models I've seen during recent years.
