Hi everyone! I have been checking out these forums for a while now, but this is my first post. I have been looking for a specific knife that may not exist. What I want is a pocket knife with a 1.5-3" blade, and a philips and flat head screwdriver. I do not need a can opener, scissors, saw, awl, file or any of that stuff. Also, I need the philips to be on the end, so most SAK's are out. I would also prefer a pocket clip and a locking blade. I really like the Leatherman Crater c33tx's features and size, but I really want something that is much better quality. Thinking about giving the Gerber Obsidian a try, but afraid I will be disappointed with the quality again. Does anybody have any experience with the Gerber or have a recommendation for a better alternative? Thanks for your help!

Apart from the Crater, I don't know of any others currently in production that meet your specs. On the "retired" market, however, you might look for something in the Leatherman Expanse line, basically same as Crater but with upgraded steels and components.

The Kershaw Select Fire has nearly every aspect you described except that the blade is about 3 1\4 inches.

There's also the Spyderco Byrdrench but that has wrench too :)

There are some people on here that do custom SAKs so you could order one up with just a blade and two screwdrivers...

The new Emerson EDC-2 has all of that but still has an awl. That could be a deal breaker but its all I could come up with.

The Emerson is exactly what I'm looking for! I don't have any real need for the awl, but it's not a deal breaker. I also like that the tools are one piece, I would rather not deal with bits. I might have to look into those custom SAK's, too. Thanks for all your help!
