Primitive Bowie

The overall length is 17". The blade is 1095 carbon 12" X 2" X 1/4" thick (3/8" at the blade catchers).
The guard, bolster, and pommel sides are 1018.
The scales are curly maple.
I call this a " Fighting Bowie Knife ". Just listed it on ebay (sold).

Hey Mcswood I really dig your work.

It looks like something from the Wild West yet at the same time somewhat futuristic. Like something they'd use on the Firefly series. REALLY cool.
