Primitive damascus knife value

I need assistance establishing identification and value on a small 1800s ivory handle Damascus steel skinning knife with sinew eyelet and saw-teeth on top of the blade. It has been in the family for decades, but at 68yrs. old, I intend to sell it and pass the funds to my grand kid.
