I'm planning the second-annual Siskiyou Primitive Skills Gathering, and you all are invited. It will begin on Thursday July 24th and will end on Saturday the 26th, although we might extend it for another day on either end, depending on demand.

Rules are simple: No alcohol or drugs. Respect others. The group comes before the individual. Practice “Leave No Trace” ethics as much as reasonably possible.

As we did last year, a parking area will be provided where vehicles should be safe and a shuttle will be available to take participants to the trailhead. Let me know if you will be coming in by bus or plane and will need to be picked up.

I was there last year and will be there again. Great location and Dan gets an A+ for organizing a great time. I look foward to meeting some new faces.

I just scouted out the location for this year's gathering. We'll return to the same general area, but we'll be a couple miles from last year's site. It should be a great spot - even better than last year. Bring your swimming trunks!

Beter than last year? That's got to be a great spot:) Definitly will do on the trunks. I am sure the sun will be shining :D
 
Dates are creeping up real fast :) Anyone else looking to have fun surviving?
 
Does anyone do somethinge like this in the New Jersey area?....sorry to steal the thread...
