In case you haven't heard of the MAPS Meet yet, let me take this opportunity to tell Forum members that it is a 4-day primitive skills rendezvous that will be held in Maryland on June 5-8. There are just four weeks left before the early registration prices for the Meet expire! (For all of the details, go here: http://www.mapsgroup.org/MAPSMeet.htm)

Plans are proceeding well and it should again be a great event. About half of the instructors this year are new--if you would like to see information about them, go here: http://www.mapsgroup.org/instructors.htm. Also, we will again have a unique program of women's events (http://www.mapsgroup.org/women.htm) that should be interesting.

A couple of things that will be new this year are that on Saturday night, we will be having a pig roast (we can roast a tofu for you vegetarians ;-)! We will also have a falconer there talking about hunting with falcons and showing some of his peregrines. There will also be more activities going on in the evenings such as evening sessions and more music! I hope to see some Forum members there!
