At the end of February I posted in the "Knives, Want to Buy" forum that I was looking for a Terry Primos Platypus. I didn't really expect to find one and sure enough I got no responses. I stumbled upon this one the day after Mike at Rehoboth put it up on his site. Not a Platypus but a Mini-Montero. About 7" overall, ironwood, Schevers tooled leather sheath. Terry Primos really, really knows what he is doing. Life is good.

Yes, and Yes:thumbup:. That is a very neat knife...I really like that blade shape...everything about it is wonderful, except that it is yours and not mind;). But I'm glad for you. Preston

That is a sweet little knife with some gorgeous ironwood. Terry's knives are hard to come by, so this was an extra-nice snag.

I was looking for that one to arrive on the Rehoboth site. I would have pulled the trigger on it in a heartbeat. Congratulations!

What is blade steel?

LB - Specs read, "Satin finished 9260 high carbon steel blade, Distal Taper, visible Temper line".
Now, hurry up and get the digital camera you were talking about and let's see some of the LEATHERBIRD COLLECTION:D
