  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

According to Primus Website (HERE), it is not supposed to be done (doesn't say anything)... but, any stove with a generator tube is able to use upside down canisters in low temps. I have a Primus Omnifuel and it does burn ok upside down gas canisters (I usually go with white gas or auto gas but I tried once just for the heck of it).

Below -0,5ºC butane does not gasify... but using the can upside down, the propane on top pushes the liquid butane down the hose and it gasifies on the generator tube. Remember to warm up the stove first using it for a few seconds with the canister in the right position.
