i understand how a regular pushbutton auto works because i have seen the inside of one, but i have not seen the inside of a sardinian prioletta, does anyone know what is inside one and how the lock and release mechanism works? i cant find this information anywhere in the internet

If you mean the Prioletta with the exposed button rocker-
The mechanism works like the picklocks, except the button rocker is exposed. The rocker pivots on a separate piece that is attached to the liner. The rocker is slotted and fitted over the pivot piece-and there is a rivet connecting the two.

so i see there in the middle i am assuming that is where it is slotted and attached to the pivot piece that is showing there in the middle of the rocker, and i am also assuming that the pin that holds the blade in place is simply at the end of the rocker and is a 90degree angle down, my only question now is what keeps tension on the rocker? when you press it in, what tension returns it to the normal position?
