The idea was using a piece of meteorite I got at Blade Show this year. I used carbidizer on the edge so it can makes some very light cutting...
I called this one Prisma III Prototype. I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!

Great looking knife Gustavo, that is a really wonderful piece of meteorite and the handle texture ties it together. Good looking user shape too, even if this is for a bookcase. All the best.

That looks great! How does the meteorite hold up long term for cutting and general wear and tear?

VERY nice Gus! The handle design looks great with the pattern in the meteorite.

I've seen meteorite used for bolsters and inlays, but thought it was too soft for blades?

Thanks all!
Unwisefool, Peterinct, it doesn't good for cutting anything at all, too soft for the job. This one is more a collection piece or a folding letter opener...I added carbide on the edge just to not let it to fragile.

Looks great Gus. I see something new- whats that small screw on the bottom of scale (the intregal lock side) ?

Thanks Robert! To not over travel the lock bar. It is 0.2" off centered because of the milling job on the frame, so the pocket I made to hold it doesn't appears on the external side.
