Private message option

I can't find the private message option. Is it turned on for me? Thanks

You have to be a paid member to use the PM system. Basic is $10 per year. $30 for GOLD which allows you to sell.

Ok, thank you. I just bought the basic membership. I sent a private message but not sure if it's going out. I don't see the message in my sent folder? Is there something I need to do to start messaging? Thanks

Go to Settings > My Settings (left side) > My Account > General Settings
Messaging & Notification -- go through all the email and PM settings, including Default Thread Subscription Mode.

Sent Messages

Go to Settings (upper right) then to My Settings (left side of page) then General Settings and down on the left to General Settings, where you will find Private Messaging.
The last entry in this section is Sent Private Messages:*

_ Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
_ Don't save a copy of sent messages
When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.
