Private Message Question.

Whats up..... Just wondering..... I have a total of 50 allowed private messages. If 39 are used but 20 of those were sent to me, and i only sent out the other 19. Do i still have 31 left to actually send myself..... Im sure its an easy one to awnswer .. I just dont want to run out 2 months after i got my gold status...Thnks

Should be that you get 50 total. Whether it be 45 inbox and 5 outbox, etc.... I usually keep only really really important or current ones and delete the rest as needed.

You have space allocated to store 50 messages, as the total of your inbox, outbox, and any other boxes you create. If you don't delete the old ones and you let the total climb to 50 then whoever tries to send you the 51st will get an error message saying your mailbox is full, and you'll get a message telling you that instead of getting that 51st message. So delete the old ones!
