Is there an issue with the PM system? I'm having people request a PM and I can't see a button or link to PM them. I'm also not getting PMs they say they are sending. Has something changed on the board lately?

Yeah, thanks for that. I guess the other people are not set up for IM. I can see the link to IM you on your profile. Appreciate the help!

The PM notification system is sometimes wonky. But you can start a conversation with anyone who has the proper membership level (paid membership) by
♦ mousing over the envelop icon at the top right of every page. It's next to your user name. Mousing over the icon will provide a popup titled "conversations".
♦ Click that word and it takes you to a list of your "Conversations" AKA "PMs".
♦ at the top right is a box that says "start a new conversation" Click it and off you go.

Alternatively, you can click any paid member's name on a post he has made. That gives you a popup with links. One of the links says, "send message". Click that and it starts a conversation with that member.

A lot of registered members don't seem to know that they cannot send PMs - and I notice on the Exchange that some will post "PM sent" prior to sending the message. Also, if you have it open for posts, check your profile page... when unable to send PMs, some will leave a profile post.
