Private messaging

How do I activate private messaging. I don't see anything in my settings to activate it and I never see it as an option by a users name or contact info?

Your PMs are activated. Go to Notifications at the top of the page. In the upper right, see Inbox and click on it. Then you have a choice of Inbox, Sent items, Send new message.

Just an FYI, default on this forum is set to not save sent messages. That can be changed in your settings if you prefer to have a copy of your sent items (you can also choose to save sent items on an individual message bases)

Go to Settings (upper right) then to My Settings (left side of page) then General Settings and down on the left to General Settings, where you will find Private Messaging.
The last entry in this section is Sent Private Messages:

_ Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
_ Don't save a copy of sent messages
When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.
