Forged fighter with San Mai blade from O1 and 150 yr old iron.
Handle from Hippo tooth with blackened copper guard and pommel.
Dimensions:
Blade - 300mm x 45mm x 8mm
Handle - 130mm x 22mm

Will post pics of the sheath when I am done.

Have you ever had a problem with hippo teeth cracking, I have used two and after about a week after completion they both cracked.

I use solid pieces to avoid the cracking scenario. But yes, hippo is prone to cracking, especially in slab form. I use some super glue to fill cracks if they are fine and white dyed epoxy if they are larger.
 
Great stuff.

Love the blackened Copper. Looks very organic. Looks like a really fast blade.
