I would like to thank Jerry and Jennifer again for the wonderful opportunity to win this, I for one don’t know any other company who would take as much interest in their customers to give back the way they do.. Thank you very much.

Also a huge thanks to Drew who wore himself out to a frazzle looking for tags all over town, and posting us all the time with updates on his progress.
Not to mention allowing me to be in his team..
Thanks mate. ;)

In addition I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all of the new friends that I’ve made since buying a computer and connecting to the internet. I’ve mostly spent my live as a loner living and working in the bush and would not have ever dreamed of making so many friends.

It truly has opened up a new world for me.
I’ve never met any of you, but I feel you are friends I’ve known all of my life. Thanks.

Here are the mandatory pictures that go with a new acquisition. :D

Getting used to it’s new Aussie surrounds..

Ian,
Congrats on a Beautiful knife. Great pics as well, thanks for sharing them.

I also have met many friends from all over the world, maybe when the kids are away to college the wife and I will be able to travel to Oz and see some of them. As for you, I plan on meeting you next year at Blade :D:D

Great pics Ian! I'm glad to hear that your AD arrived safely.

Thanks for being a part of team WWHogs.OINK. It was a blast!

Beautiful knife! Each time I see a new AD picture I ask myself the same question - why why I didn't buy one when they were available??????? :grumpy:

It seems like everyone has an active duty! That's a nice looking blade.

I don't - yet. I'm waiting for one to cone up for sale. (Hint, hint you Hogs!)

Of course, the other option is to wait until the Baer/Active Duty 1911 combo is released. I just hope I can scratch together the dough for that one.

Neither do I. :D

I am in the middle of gathering funds for another piece but there is little chance of me getting a Colt 1911 and matching active duty.

Every time I look it this thread, I can't help but notice this:

There obviously isn't, but it looks like there's an enormous chip in the blade..

wtf?

Ian,

I think you are an AD HOG! How many is this? :D

GREAT SCORE! I love the snakeskin Micarta :D

I don't think it's a chip - the berry (or whatever it is) is just covering the edge of the blade.

Ian,

Glad to hear that it arrived safe and sound!!!

Thanks for the killer pics!!!! It's HOGs like you who make this forum the fun trough that it is!!!!

Jerry
