This one is actually heading for Iraq. We outfitted it in kydex instead of the usual leather sheath. I think it came out good. What do you think?

Nice job. That sheath is top notch. The knife ain't too shabby either. A nice package altogether. Some soldier's gonna be real happy:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks halfserrated.
The sheath is for inverted carry and the knife is held in so tight you have to use the thumb tab and a slight twisting motion to remove it. I used a wooden shim under the blade and did all the pressing on the front side of the kydex. There is room for some sand inside as the blade doesnt touch anything. Kydex and sand usually dont get along well.

that's a very nice design Bruce.

Very nice. Very sleek and stealth and the sheath is nice nice nice

I have a Bruce Bump stag skinner that is so pretty I am afraid I will never use it. Kind of like apiece of art

That Paul Bos heat treating is just the icing on the cake.:D

Wow, very very nice. I like the pins for some reason. :D

Is there much hunting to be done in Iraq? Other than of two-legged predators, of course. ;)

:D I doubt it will be used for game hunting there. Its just a handy little user for any chore that comes up. He probally has a combat knife too.

this one I sure will work better ;)

Bruce where is the attachment system from? Did you invent that? That is just the ticket for attaching to molle webbing. Finally!

Geat job Bruce. I am sure that he will get a lot of use out of it. I have a grandson over there now that is due to come back within the next 30 days. He says that for his use, just a regular hunting or utility knife gets used more than any other type. He is a Blackhawk pilot.

Yes they are Molle clips from Bladetech. Not expensive but tuck in and super secure locks. I have never used them before but will again. I like them better than techlocks.

Thanks Walt!
I do think this will be useful over there. I like a combat knife as well as the best of them but this one is small and light and the sheath is secure and very universal carry.

Thank your grandson for me will Ya? I am free because of him and people like him.
