When the pro site has a knife that is not currently available, will it be available soon, never, rarely?

Also, is it 2 knives per calendar year or ?

I just recently joined the BCCI and I'm thinking I need to pick a couple knives up. One of them isn't available so I thought if I waited?

Thanks!

Yes, the Paradigm Pro was listed as unavailable until a few weeks ago.

I called and asked and was told that it's two knives per calendar year. I bought one and haven't seen anything I want on there since........still checking.

Knives do come and go on there, but it's pretty slow.

I really wish they had a larger selection and more desirable knives.

I'm not sure. I dont have any real hopes of the 3 piece B&C coming back, but what a price. I would think most would come back as long as not LE's or disco'd, although even then you never know. I have the same question about year. Do you get a clean slate at the beginning of each year? And it is use it or loose it?

OK, Just stumbled onto an email I received when I signed on last night. Not sure if this clears it up or not. In my opinion, it sounds like on January 1, I'll have 2 more knives I can buy.

Your Pro Purchase privilege will expire at the end of the calendar year. You may order your allotment of knives (including kitchen cutlery), sheaths, items from the Buck Stuff category and sharpening tools. Within each of these categories you are allowed to purchase a set number of items. Log in to see your allotments.

That begs the question, is my new BCCI membership (annual, plan to go life soon) going to end at the calendar year or 11 months from now?

I'd like to grab an Ergohunter Pro and I would call the discount on that substantial. It's not available. I hope it is in time for me to get it for myself for Christmas!

Yes, you get a clean slate at the beginning of the new calendar year........two knives and whatever of the other categories.

That came from Buck when I called to find out details.

Ok, I found it and sent in my application. Now I wait and hope I get approved I guess. Does anyone know what the approval process is?

There is an approval when you enter the promo code on the card sent by BCCI. Mine zipped right through. Perhaps that is what he's referring to.

Thanks Casey,

FYI
You can also get your new Buck knives from a BCCI friendly dealer. I go to Larry Oden and he gives us a great price and there is no 2 knife a year limit. Welcome to the club, don't forget to save your extra penny's for the club knives and fund raiser knives.

Yeah Steve, as a lifer, you dont need and application, you should already have a promo code from when you joined the BCCI, although you wouldnt be the 1st person Ive known to misplace it.

As a new member I'm not aware of what you guys are talking about. Where do I go to get a discount and what knives are available with my discount? Sorry for the noobishness.

If I had a code I have no idea where it went, emailed BCCI now to see if I can get a new one.

Starting to think it's not worth the hassle. Wish they could like the club login to the Buck site, keep it simple for simple people like me.

Grisle- sorry, I can't help you, I'm still wondering through the dark myself.
If your paperwork from the club came with a promo code then you can log into the Buck Pro site (very small link at the bottom of their web page). Once in you should have the info you're looking to find.

LOL, we didnt misplace them :D
Members who joined years back, didnt receive this card. This is something that was started at Blade show in 08-09? I believe. I never received the card either.

Send an email off to John Foresman, and he will get you the card.
Its worth the hassle Steve, you will get 2 knives per year (for BCCI members) at a huge discount. I myself can't wait for January 1st :D

Great! So now I have to hurry to buy my 2 for this year, thanks! :D

Sent and email to the BCCI, will wait and see. That goes to John Foresman doesn't it?

Jim, I think thats a great promotional benefit . Your right I didn't get that but they've already made up for it in other ways . Enjoy guys . DM
