I am hoping to get some first-hand user feedback on the:
  • Pro-Tech Strider 2407 SnG AUTO Folding Knife 3.5"
As an avid reader of Bladeforums I’m aware of the controversies associated with the Strider products but want to have an SnG in my collection.

I have a Buck/Strider collaboration model but it’s not much of a knife.

For those of you who have a Pro-Tech SnG, are you satisfied with your purchase and do you have any feedback you could provide me?

I understand that it would be hard to find someone who has either handled or owns both an authentic SnG and a Pro-Tech but if any of you do have first-hand experience with both I’d really value your comparison thoughts.

I've handled both, and while I'd buy neither the Pro-Tech version was built better--it didn't wobble when locked up.
 
The pro-techs I've personally handled, including strider designs, are top notch. And compared to striders, I'd take a pro-tech.

I'd also prefer a hinderer designed zero tolerance than an actual hinderer.

Some production companies are just that good, especially when considering price
