In 1994 I bought a Spyderco with a 2 3/4" G2 drop point blade that is 80% serrated. It has a stainless steel handle and pocket clip. I believe it has been discontinued and was called the "Hunter"? Can anyone tell me what the Suyderco model number for this knife was?

It appears the provenator uses the same blade?

The model no. for the Hunter is C03. You're right it does share the same blade with the Pro-Venator (C13) and Pro-Grip (originally C33 now C13).

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow....in Australia it's tomorrow already.

The original Hunter (C03) came with a plain edge or a fully serrated edge (also left & right hand versions). The C13 Pro Venator (Now Pro Grip) had the same handle pattern as the original Hunter model (+ added kraton). The blade had more belly than the original Hunter model and became a combination (50/50) edge.

The 80% edge suggests that it might be an early Hunter.

We have made (I think SFO still has some left over) Stainless C13 without the kraton. The original C03 Hunter handle with the C13 blade, but it is not fully serrated.

I would have to see a picture to identify the model.
