  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Probably a dumb question but.....

What are all the ring knives for? I know a lot of people wear them around their necks, but what are they designed to be used for?

I tried to search a few different terms, but no luck. Thanks in advance.

Knives like the Perrin La Griffe & Spyderco Spot have a hole/ring to aid in grasping & securing the knife. Like you noticed most are small fixed blades that are worn around the neck. The ring aids in grasping these small knives quickly, under what will probably be a stressful situation.
