I would like to publicly thank Buck Customer Service. My son's Large Buck/Strider folder (a gift from me) has been "rode hard & put up wet" on many occasions. A couple of weeks ago, he noticed he had lost the screw securing the blade stop pin to the right handle scale (he's young; a good lesson to him to periodically check his equipment).
One quick call to customer service resulted advice to loctite the screw in place (done, guys!!) and prompt receipt of three replacement screws (in case the kid's a slow learner).
Many thanks! His heavy-duty folder is back in service (and he's now learned proper technique for preparing and loctiting screws). In addition to great products, Buck provides after-the-purchase support, and deserves recognition.
