Wondering if anyone has one in hand yet. I have to say that I have been eagerly awaiting them since viewing Doug Ritter's vid. Prices seem reasonable. Anyone?

Could you please point us where to find the Doug Ritter's video you mention? I really have no idea what are you talking about... I am curious.

Doug Ritter's website should have a link. Google equipped to survive. The knives are available at several well known online retailers if you wanted to take a look

Got a link to any of the retailers? I haven't seen the knives at any of the ones I know of yet.

Folks, I can't post a link to a retailer, some of the common ones have it already, they are on some auction sites too. Posting a link would be deal spotting. They are out there, trust me. Google them if you need to, it is Ontario Spec Plus Gen II or SP42. I guess the answer to my question is that there aren't any out in hands yet.

Its ok, I found a site that carries them. I'm wondering why the little ones are so much more expensive than the big ones, though. I would think that the opposite would be true.

The little ones have butt caps, which means they have a peened tang, which might mean more labor cost? They are a different style of blade as well. The Larger blades appear to have the prevalent Spec Plus hooked handle, and the smaller ones appear to have the metal butcap and ringed Kraton. Might make it a tad more expensive.

That's kind of what I was thinking, but I still wouldn't think it would be 20 dollars more expensive.
