Having problem sharpening the Brous Blade Reloader, I freehand using the spyderco sharpmaker rods medium and fine on the recurve and medium, fine, and ultra fine ceramic bench stones on the tanto, then strop the whole blade on leather without compound. I go thru the same procedures on S30V recurves (ZT350 and BM 790) and easily get a sharp edge, same procedure without the sharpmaker on 154CM, M4, S35VN, Elmax, and M390 non-recurve blades, also easily get a sharp edge. By sharp edge I mean only sharp enough to cut newsprint. Usually I take no more than 10 mins on each knife for sharpening. But I have sharpen and resharpen the D2 on the Reloader for more than 10 times now still can't get it to cut newsprint easily.
