Problem with Edge Pro Apex 4

Hi everyone! I'm having a problem with my edge pro apex. It seems that I'm able to put a perfect mirror edge on all my knives, except for an area on the right side of the blade near the tip. The edge pro is not reaching the very edge in this one spot on multiple knives, so I figured it was just a problem with reprofiling and I had to take off more steel, but after about 200+ passes on the 120 grit stone I figured it might be something I'm doing wrong. Has anyone ever encountered this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are the pictures of some of the knives I've tried to sharpen; as you can see, there's a spot that the sharpener just isn't reaching. Should I just keep grinding away, or is there something I'm doing wrong here? Thank you so much.

So I talked to someone from edge pro (awesome customer service) about the problem. He said that what's causing this is an uneven bevel; the side of the knife that I'm having the problem with is ground down too deep. He said that for the next couple sharpenings what I should do is just do 2 passes on the opposite side for every 1 pass I do on the messed up side. Does this sound right to you guys?

Hi brother, yes that sounds right. I've experienced the same thing when sharpening some of my knives.
I've found that some of my knives have the uneven bevel although the knives is still new and has the factory edge. I noticed this after using the guided system to sharpen the knives. I use the edge pro. You won't realize it or hard to see the uneven bevel only by the bare eyes.

The other clue is the bevel at one side bevel is wider the other side after sharpening with the guided system like Edge Pro. Actually, is quit easy to fix it as you've had the edge pro.

Here's the youtube link you can get helped to know the concept of uneven bevel and how to fix it. Have a nice try to fix your knives.
