Problem with JetEdge II

I am having some trouble with my Jet Edge 2. It is one of my EDCs and sees a lot of use and for the first time just recently it is giving me some trouble. It does not stay closed all the way. The blade does not fall completely open just a mm if that but still enough to be anoying and troublesome (getting caught on things). Has anyone one else experienced this? I have taken the knife apart but as you know it does not come apart due to the two pins on either side of the lanyard hole. Why would they make a quality knife like this that could not be disasembled? The only solution I know that will work will be to grind a new point on the tip so it does not stick out anymore.:mad:

I'm sorry for the problems your having! In the past, I've carried the JetEdge II as my EDC. I typically like to have a really "light" action on my folding knives, so the first thing I always do is loosen screws. On the JetEdge II, that led to it spontaniously opening similarly to your description (this has led to lots of cuts :) ).

Since I can't personally handle your knife in this venue, if you feel there is something wrong with your knife, we would be more than willing to review your knife for warranty concerns. If this be the case, here are warranty return instructions.
