Problem with my 25

I received a CRK 25 for Xmas and recently started to edc it. When I first got it I found it difficult to open and that caused a delay in my rotation of knives. Just when I thought I broke it in the situation started to get worse. The blade tang is actually rubbing against the pivot stop pin! I thought a drop of lube may help but now it's like the blade has become frozen and barely rotates without force. Mind you that I own around 15 sebs! I'm going to try cleaning it first to see what happens. Any suggestions?

Take it apart and clean it. If it is still funky send it in. Better to be safe than sorry.

The stop pin has a recessed area in it to allow clearance. It has to be properly aligned. Take it apart and you'll see what I mean. If you have the lock side down the stop pin should be oriented with the dimple around the 10:00 position.

Once you get it in the right spot you don't ever have to remove the screw from the lock side of the stop pin again.

Before you tighten everything up when you are putting it back together the stop pin needs to be turned so that the blade doesn't rub. Test the blade movement before you tighten, once the stop pin is in the right spot tighten it up and you should be good to go. I had a similar problem.
