Problem with my notifications?

Hi, I have a permanent notification for "1 unread visitors message" I've cleared my history and cookies. Signed out and back in. Gone into my settings and turned off visitors messages and turned them back on and I can't get the notification to go away, I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated (I have constant conversations over VM and the extra notification drives me nuts)

You have 35 pages of VMs. Have you gone through them all carefully to see that each one has been clicked on?

Ive had this same issue, its not there anymore, but i ont know what i did to fix it, best luck, and id do what esav said
