Good morning all,
I have a crossgrip that I have a problem with (duh, the title silly). I have probably over stressed it by trying to cut too heavy a gauge of wire. The pliers will not copmpletely close now. The connection points for the plier head seems to be very loose and the pins appear not to be exactly straight.
My question(s) are:
1. Can the pins (they have hex heads) be removed? And if so, how? Are they actually pins or bolts that need to be unscrewed?
2. Should I just send it back to SOG for the excellent warranty service I am sure they would provide to an over stressed tool?
Thanks for the assistance.
Out for now.
