About a week ago I posted about my GEC 73 Beaver Tail. It was a real bear trap pull. To make a long story short I lubed it, worked the opening and closing, blew out the grit from mfg.,wiped off all the excess oil and repeated the process several times. After a week it has become a strong smooth pull. It is a great cutting tool besides being classic looking. Great knife.

I bought one back in late May, it quickly became my favorite piece. I thought I lost it in my accident, but nope. I think some road grit was in the action, but I worked it out. The blade has gotten a little loose and wobbly.
