Problem with Powermax45 XP plasma Arc Cutting System

The problem with this machine is that the "Gas Pressure fault LED (yellow)" light comes on which indicates not enough air pressure. The compressor gauge has 100lbs of air pressure going to the powermax. Thinking that the filter might be faulty, I even removed the filter and hooked the air hose directly to the machine and the "Gas Pressure fault light" still came on.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is what I found online:
The gas pressure fault light on the Powermax45 XP system indicates that the system is not operating within the correct pressure range. This can be caused by a low incoming gas pressure or a restriction in the gas supply line. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Check the gas supply: Ensure that the gas supply is connected correctly and that there are no restrictions or damage in the gas supply line.
  2. Verify the gas pressure: Use the pressure gauge to check the gas pressure at the gas source. The correct operating range is typically above a minimum threshold.
  3. Adjust the gas pressure: If the incoming gas pressure is too low, increase it to the acceptable range. The system has two ways to read the gas pressure: static, when the gas is not flowing through the machine, and dynamic, when the gas is flowing through the machine.
  4. Enter gas test mode: Set the amperage adjustment knob to the gas test position, fully counterclockwise, and pull up on the pressure regulator knob to unlock it. Turning this knob will regulate gas flow through the system.
If the gas pressure light turns off and the torch continues to operate, the issue has been resolved. If the light remains on, further troubleshooting may be necessary. Always refer to the Hypertherm operator manual for the correct pressure settings and troubleshooting steps.

Thanks, Stacy, those are good suggestions.
Today I found out what the problem was. The tip has several pieces and when I put the tip together I left one of the pieces out. It was a dumb mistake but easy to fix once I figured it out. The machine saying the problem was lack of air really got me looking in the wrong place for a solution.
Maybe this can help someone else if they ever have this problem.
