Problem with status of order ...

Hi !
I've recently order a Sirupati 12'' with International Express Mail (i live in Strasbourg, France...) and i'd like to know the status of my order ...
The problem is that i can't know if the paiement is ok, and if it has been shipped ...
I've tried to email Himalyan imports but it doesn't work ...
If someone from Himalyan imports can answer me ... :thumbup:

Email is himimp@aol.com . Is that the one you are using? I'm sure Yangdu will see this and contact you, but try another email.

Yes i use this email and receive a "Mailer-Demon" response : it doesn't work...
But i've received an order confirmation via email...
What can i do ?

If you received an order confirmation from H.I., that is, Yangdu, you may count on the the blade being shipped to you as efficiently as any order you have received from the United States on ANYTHING.

Customs, import evaluation, whatever bureaucracy you have to deal with may be the reason for the delay.

The order, and the email addresses are the same. The Mailer Daemon response may reflect a server problem.

Rest easy.
 
Artault, count on at least 10 working days for the $25 charge.
This is my 3rd week wating for 15"AK.. Last one 9WDays = 2weeks for
20" WW11. Worth the wait!
I now pay the $40 EMS (Cherokee rose & JKM) have received ebay stuff from the states in 5 WDays with EMS.
I too recieved comfirmation today for a Sarge. Replied with a request to hold until next buy to save on freight. Mail was bounced. Server must be down. Yangdu did not win her reputation in a lottery - twas earned!

You are dealing now with the most responsible *and* honest knife supplier in the world. Don't worry...your knife *will* get to you.

How long have you been waiting so far?

Sometimes international shipping takes a long time due to customs ect.

BTW Vince...when dealing with "Himalayan Imports"...you are dealing with only one person. Yangdu.

Sometimes folks get in the habit of thinking that any successful company with thousands of happy customers must have a full staff of customer suport people and fleets of trucks delivering stuff.

Since Uncle Bill's passing, Yangdu has maintained (and some will attest to improved upon) HI's sales, support and service by herself.

We let her sleep once in a while. ;)
 
Yangdu is doing a superb job and is always looking for ways to improve an already outstanding company and product. We've never had it so good.

But be advised that we have our own conventions. For instance, a foot-long knife is referred to as "small." ;) I think a 12" sirupati is a great khukri. Congratulations on a fine choice.
 
Hi everybody !
First of all, i would like to thanks anyone here, in this forum, for all the answer i receive !
The Sirupati is arrive yet and i'm fond of it ! :D
My first reaction was that the knife was a lot smaller that what i imagine :the feeling in my hand is "comme un gant" :) I mean it will be really easy to practice chopping with it (even if it's not a big blade, anyway some times ago i use a mora 711 to chop a 12-15 cm branch of cedar and succeed in it :D ...)
What i like is the feeling of a kiind of soul given to this blade.
It's really hard to discribe with words but i've other knives (that i like as much but not the same way :) ...) such as Sebenza, Meaner Street or F1 that haven't this feeling, once in my hand !
Anyway, i'm totally agree : for the price, you get 2 or more times more than expected !
That's why i just order a new one : a Ang Khola 15" ... :cool: :rolleyes: :D :thumbup:
