So, it would appear that the "Image Verification" for password retrieval and account creation is borked.

Tried it on Chrome and IE9, with cache and cookies emptied.


Yeah, I lost my password... :grumpy:
 
Okay, last one, I swear, but this one's kinda funny.

I found out the new forum, I guess it's not ready yet and I'm just spoiling it for everyone, so, I'll stfu on the address. BUT


When trying to log into the new forum, they tell you that you have to reset your password (Woohoo!!! was I thinking, my problem was solved)

Yeah - it works - but no avatars or sig lines. But it works.....
 
Frankly I'm going to try this ONE more time tonight to get logged in. If not I'm done with it.

It's not too tricky. I figured it out in under a minute. Just enter your user name for the forgot your password. It e-mails you the new random password that was automatically created with the reboot. Use it to log on, then change your settings.
 
I have tried to get the new password 3 times, didn't get an email yet and it has been 3-4 hours from first attempt...
 
Still nothing, and I tried a few more times.
Josh, any chance of helping out?
 
I have got the new password... but it still says its the incorrect password... tried username and email... got both emails with different temp passwords tried them both, still says incorrect, tried my old password, incorrect too....


I liked it better before... now its too "techy" nerdy or what have you.... rough on the eyes too. ....... not the best color IMO and I have to change to medium theme for it not to bother my eyes as bad..

Still I cant log in so that's the bigger issue...

? I did nothing different, just tried again and it worked... hmm...
 
Finally got in and done to include the avatar. Like the new format but have lost the private message contacts, will see. Some of you YOUNG KIDS can figure this stuff out pretty quick but after having chemo I don't think as clearly as I use to at working around computers. My long term memory is still sharp but like I said if it's something new it gets a little daunting at times. So I ain't fond of change in anything. I follow the old formula of KISS-Keep It Simple Stupid!!!
