I have just been sent an X-42 TiNi coating... with a sheath in which the knife does not fit. Also, the belt strap is loose, and the handle strap is attached the other way round.
Are you serious?. This is not the first or the second SOG blade I buy, but may be the last one. This knife cost me overall one month waiting and over 200$ counting customs and s&h. I bet you could take a look at the sheaths before shipping, if you want to make sure you sell quality. I accept that a minor problem may be encountered with a knife, as they don´t take the individual attention a custom knife would take, but believe me, this IS AN EVIDENT MISTAKE. You only have to take a look to see it.
Also, while trying to get the knife o the sheath the coating was scratched, but I don´t want to send it back, as always have a problem with the customs agents to let the knives pass. As I am not sending it back I don´t assume you have to believe this part, but, just to know, I give you my word.
So, the thing now is if I am going to get paid for the shipping of the sheath back to the factory and the customs of the other sheath, and I also want to know if there is a european office so I can get a faster and easier delivery.
