So i purchased a BM635 and Nimravus from GPKnives. They came in today.

the 635 is great, although the thumb hole is a bit small. I've read the dremel mod on it, but i'm worried about screwing up my knife :P

I also have a tek-lok, which is what i need help on. Apparently the benchmade tek-loks do not fit on the nimravus sheaths unless you attach it to the very bottom, because there is a rise in the sheath at the very top for the knife. At least that's the way it seems. Maybe i'm just an idiot and am trying to put the teklok on wrong?

I wouldn't worry about screwing anything up too bad. The Dremel works fairly slowly, and has a lot of options for smoothing everything out to a nice finish, if you're good with it.

Otherwise, I'd reccomend the floss, or zip-tie mod to create a little thumbstud for yourself.

Have you tried emailing Benchmade? First principles...

I emailed them about my 160 and what Tek Lok can fit. They responded within the day and even attached a picture on how it can be done.

If no one else pipes up with a better suggestion, try nice heavy duty black zipties. It won't be the prettiest thing, but at least you'll be able to get it to work.

I'll second the zipties suggestion. With zipties and duct tape you can do anything. Of course you might look like a hobo coming down the street...
:p

You can order a TekLok Parts Kit for the TekLok sheath by going to Blade Techs website. The rubber spacers in the kit will allow you to attach the clip higher up on the sheath.
