Problems after Firefox update

I'm running Firefox 3.6.8 since 7/23/2010. Now I can't use any of the buttons to change text size or color or any of the other buttons or emoticons. I can't save an edited thread. I still can in Google Chrome. Any suggestions for a fix?

Im also running that Firefox update and mine functions fine...did you try uninstalling Firefox and then reinstalling? Dosent take more than 5-10 mins.
