I have been having trouble connecting to bf for the last couple of days. I took screenshots from my phone. Any ideas what is causing the issues?

I started getting similar errors when sending a PM to certain members, as well as some links to the FAQ are not responding. No idea why, but it could have something to do with new security implemented by the forum (server) host.

I get different RAY ID numbers, and error numbers. Hasn't happened today thankfully.

I have not been able to post in Shop talk in a thread about heating a shop in Michigan, but was able to post in other forums. Came up with the same cloud error. It shows my end is okay but Bladeforums can't pick up the post I'm sending because something is timing out on the site's end.

I can't start a trade thread for some reason, it that exact error. Is anyone working on this?? Seems like a major server error......

Yeah I've gotten the error multiple times today. On both my phone, and my home computer. I hope that a fix is on the way.

I'm getting this error, this morning. Trying to post a reply to a thread in MT&E; it's not taking the edit, and instead times out with this error message:

Well I'm bumping this back up again. When connected to my home WiFi, I continuously get the cloudflare error. When I disconnect from my WiFi I am able to connect again.

I'm still getting clougflare errors when using WiFi at my home. Actually, my home computer also gets the same errors. Cellular network has been working.

I saw a cloudflare help site that said to contact the site administrator if there are cloudflare errors.

Spark, is there any way to fix these errors that I have been getting?

I'm getting the same crap.. :thumbdn: Although mine says "error 522". I'm very surprised I'm still able to access the site right now, gotta be a record for this week by not doin it yet within this 4 or so hour span!

I posted my own thread about the same thing a bit earlier, I didn't see this thread was posted already but I didn't want to take the chance to waste any time reading anything once I realized I was actually able to gain access to the site. (Sorry mods)

For me it's stops access to the entire site, not just a certain subforum or when replying etc. As I mentioned in the thread I started a bit earlier, I've never seen this Cloudflare thing during the 5+ years I've been comming here. Seems completely different than a database error since it's apparently not affecting everybody.

I really hope this gets fixed soon though, it's been incredibly frustrating!

No change here. I tried rebooting and renewing the modem and an ip address renewal, but it didn't work.

I can still access BF through cellular data plan, but not through my modem connection.

Here's a snippet from a Cloudflare support site:

Are you a website visitor?

If you are visiting a website and experience this error, please contact the website owner or webmaster.

Are you the website owner?

A 522 error response is returned when CloudFlare could not establish a TCP connection to the website’s origin server.

This issue may occur if any one of the following conditions is true:

Rate limiting incoming connections from CloudFlare's IPs.
A process on the webserver is consuming all of one or more resources at the origin.
The domain is on a shared hosting platform where traffic or tasks for a separate domain on the same server is taking up one or more resources.
Network connectivity issues between CloudFlare and the origin web server.
While the above reasons are the most common, they are not the only reasons why a 522 might be returned when attempting to access your domain.
