Dear All,

I am trying to cord wrap a couple of knives, one of which is my Arclite. However the handles are curved, which means I am findind it difficult to get the cord to wrap tightly around at the start. I can start in the middle and cord wrap towards one end, then repeat in the other direction, but I'd be just as happy if there was a better way. Any ideas anyone?

Regards, Neophyte.

I had the same problem wrapping my CRKT Bear Claw. The following method worked best. Try to wrap it similar to how you'd tie a bow string (or at least that's what I was told it was like). Take one end of the cord and lay it on the handle so the cord is folded, make sure you leave a little bit hanging off. Now with the longer part wrap the handle tightly and when you come to the loop run the cord you were wrapping with thru the loop and pull the other end to close the loop on the cord you used to wrap. Confused? Good cuz I can't write descriptions very well. Do an search for paracord wrpping or something similar and you'll get a wealth of info.
