problems replying today in shop talk

Trying to post here. I cannot post in a reply to a thread in shop talk. The thread about edges and cutting. I get the message to leave or to stay. I press leave and it just spins.

Nope....still not working. I can post here. But I cannot reply to the thread about sharpening. I get the message to leave or stay. I press leave and it spins. I get the message again to leave or stay....then it goes to a white screen that says connection timed out. WTH?? I notice that when I surf the For Sale threads, I get this issue every time, but it will finally load a page. But right now I cannot reply to that thread.

I can reply here, edit here, but not there.

When this sort of thing happens, the general advice is to type a minimal post and then edit the rest in.

However, I have experience what you're going through 2 maybe 3 times on the forum. Nothing I tried would work. Even switched from the desk top, to the lap top and then tried on my phone. Still didn't work. Each time it was in a different sub forum and about 6-10 months apart. I could post elsewhere just not in those certain threads. I don't recall what the topics were just remember how extremely frustrating it was because it was always a good discussion.
I could post just fine in the next morning.

Must be the ghost in the machine.

You are correct, sir. I was able to post a few words. But when I try to edit the post....it happens again. And then the stupid thing will actually POST a "test" thread that I had deleted. I can get no where on that thread. And it is REALLY pissing me off. What in the world??

Indulge in a good book or a stiff drink and let your mind drift. Then revisit in the morning and hopefully it will be right as rain.
