Hello knife brethren, I have been having issues with the snaps on my benchmade sheaths. I bought an Adamas 275 yesterday and have been absolutely loving the knife. I secured the sheath to left strap of my edc pack where I could store it when not on my person. I went to put the Adamas away for the night and behold! The bottom part of the snap had pulled free of main sheath and was stuck to the button on the securing strap of the sheath.
All efforts to fix it resulted in just scratching up the bottom part of the snap. Normally I'd just chalk it up to the inevitable lemon, but I've also had this problem with both my 162 bushcrafters which were purchased at different stores, at different times. I could fix the bushcrafters sheaths because you can access the bottom of the snap inside the sheath, the adamas' snap anchor cannot be accessed because it's sewn in between the two sheets of canvas. Anyone else had this issue? Would benchmade allow me to just send in the sheath for repair/replacement? Thoughts in general?
