i got my first kershaw about a week ago and i absolutely love it. the problem is that the AO doesnt always catch when i close the knife. is this a problem that anyone else is having, or did i possibly get a lemon? also is there anyway to fix this, or should i send it in to kershaw to have it fixed/replaced?

It sounds like an issue with the ON/Off switch. The blade needs to be open when you switch the AO on or off. Also, if the switch isn't fully turned one way or the other, you'll have issues with the Torsion bar not fully engaging. Mine worked the same way. Once I figured out the switch, it worked just fine every time. If the switch is hard to spin, open the blade and try again. I think the tension needs to be off the Torsion Bar for the switch to work.
