Problems with my Terzuola ATCF

I doubt there is anything wrong with the knife itself, but I am rather new to this and thought I would get some input...I received a atcf, titanium handled, last week off of the "for sale" section here on bf and the knife is new. To disengage the liner lock is quite a chore, in fact I can no longer do it with my thumb (maybe from trying so much) but have to use my pointing finger. Is this normal and just has to wear? The only thing that has been done is that the pivot screw/bolt has been adjusted a tad so it opens/closes the way I want...have I messed something up, or do custom knives oftentimes have very tight tolerances that need to "break in"??? The knife is fantastic, I just wish I knew that A) I did not screw it up or B) it will break in eventually.
thanks in advance-I know this is probably a very minor problem if any problem at all, maybe I am just being very anal-this is my first custom and I have always wanted a terzuola knife.
cheers,

Derek,
Your liner lock should engage and disengage smoothly right from the beginning. If it came like that, I would hold the seller resonsible if they did not identify the problem. Tightening the pivot should not affect lock up unless you torqued it to kingdom come and altered the geometry. Contact Bob T and see if he will tweak it for you.
