Spark, on some threads I can't seem to reply to them?
But on others it's not a problem?
Anyone else have this too?

Got me. Can you be a bit more specific?

Same here, from both my work computer at about 6:30PM and now from my home computer at 9:30PM. The first was in the Political Forum and the other in the Spyderco Forum, they both timed out.

I still cannot reply to the thread in General Discussion about the guy wanting a large-sized, do-anything clip folder. It times out on me.

Are you guys reloading the threads before you attempt to reply? Or clicking on the Post reply button instead of just trying to hit the submit button again?

I've been taken to the post by the attendant and attempted to reply, when that doesn't work I close out and find the thread manually and try to reply then as well...for some reason it happens to only certain threads...obviously...:)

Gary,

When you click on "Submit Reply" is it taking you to the page that says "We are now posting your stuff unless the Mods are annoyed with you in which case it will be shitcanned etc..."

OR

Are you getting THIS?

And then when you back out of it your text is sometimes there, sometimes gone.

More like the latter, didn't memorize it but that has a certain ring to it! Seem to remember that it said Server not found or words to that effect...

What the hell is that error, Ken? I haven't seen that before, but it could be behind some of the errors we're seeing elsewhere?

Kevin

Hey Kevin,

This is what happens
1. write a post
2. Click "Submit Reply"
3. Get the above listed error.
4. Hit "BACK" to return to the posting page
5. Maybe my text is there, maybe it isn't. 50/50 proposition. )I save in a word file until I know it's up.)

This mostly happens during morning and early afternoon hours, for some reason it almost never happens in evening or late night.

I have NO idea what to make of it, but next time it happens, I'll save the whole page so you can see the msg format. It's not the normal sort of URL msg.

I tried four times to reply to this thread. Starting at 9:20 am and again at 7:37 pm central time. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/newreply.php?s=&action=newreply&threadid=170709

I refreshed the page and even left and came back. I got this message every time:

Connection Timed Out

I have had the same problems and in addition I receive E-mail notifications regarding my threads but there is no equivalent reply at the respective forums site.
