Hello. I recently purchased a Lionsteel SR22. Excellent knife, overall, but closing is extremely difficult with one hand. It almost spoils the pleasure of handling the knife. I wonder if you have encountered this problem with this type of knife andif something can be done.

Chances are it will smooth out after you open and close it a ton of times. You can take a no.2 pencil and rub it on the spot on the blade where it engages. Typically helpful for a while, then just re apply. Oil will more than likely make it worse.

The web site mentions the "Rotoblock security system". I do not know what that is, but I wonder if it has something to do with keeping the blade open or closed.

That‘s the little circular doohickey on the scale that locks the blade open.

Got the Spyderco variant, the Lionspy, and it is just a huge framelock and you gotta make sure to turn rotolock off, usually not needed.
My Taiwanese Advocate, or Japanese Cricket, are a ton easier to manipulate and just make more sense.
What is it for even? Bushcraft at the opera?
