I needed some wood for a bbq and the fire pit. Grabbed my two favorite beckers the 2 and 16.

Splitting some hard aged mesquite. Started with my 2. It has been stripped and micarta scale. The patina is natural.

Next up my 16 stripped saber grind with micata scales g10 liners and natural patina.

After splitting some tough wood no rolls, chips or dents. No problems slicing up some softer material.

Overall I feel that I have most of my outdoors needs covered with my trusty 2 and 16. Thanks for looking

Good looking pair of Beckers. I have yet to handle a 16(but I have my eye on it for Christmas) but my stripped 2 is my 'go to' blade for fire pit/BBQ duty.

Thanks for the kind words and great pix...I really appreciate your business and that you are enjoying putting your Beckers to work.......

Thanks again....

Ethan

Almost a year and 9 months later.

It's processed pigs, doves, whitewing,a couple of rabbits, lots and lots of hard wood. Beef, veggies, para cord you name it the 16 has cut it. No rolls chips or dents. Few minutes on the sharp maker and back to shaving sharp. I am a very satisfied bk 16 owner. Thanks again

Yep, the 16 is just about perfect for almost everything. But still, You can't not have a 9!:D
