CJ and Jeff,
After handling a small Lightning, I now want to purchase one to carry regularly. But after reading that there will be a pocket clip added as an option, I decided to wait for that. I also want to add some of my own options and since Buck seems to be listening to customers, here it goes.
There is a plethora of small liner locks out there but none have the better grade stainless, so my first request is to add a model with BG-42 stainless. This seems to be a popular suggestion in the BF/Buck product offering, so how about making it a Buck offering? I would buy one today if it had the pocket clip and a BG-42 blade...actually I would buy a couple.
The other addition I would make to the knife is the "trout" scales as seen on the prototype. The overwhelming response to the picture posted by Jeff in an earlier topic suggests to me that you would sell a bunch to BF regulars and I certainly would love to see it! You might even add a couple of other scales and start a series: diamondback, pheasant, trout, granite, etc. Each with a pattern on the scale representing the name. Call it the "Pocket Wilderness" series.
Count me in.
Am I alone or would others like to see this type of knife offered by Buck?
BTW, thanks Jeff for taking care of me. I received the MS110 fixed and in perfect condition.
