Make a BK 9 three inches longer, from quarter inch stock, out of 5160...

I'll buy two for myself, and one for every member of my family :)

But then it would be a BK-12. And we already have a BK-12. Plus it would weigh in at like 12 pounds. And it wouldn't slice worth crap. You might as well carry an ax at that point.

My jeep would carry it just fine :)

I have a similar sized blade from Mineral Mountain, and it's a dream.

I just really like the BK9 blade profile better...

That would be heavy to haul around as noted, I think I would just glue a couple BK6's together.

probably couldn't afford it...

contact Bill Siegle - you can afford his :)

Twin BK6 lightsabers? I'd take on the whole empire myself, carve me up some nice ewok rugs, pimp slap luke for being such a crybaby and be home in time for lunch.

Keep an eye on the WS&S forum's wilderness "EXTREME" knife/chopper challenge underway right now, I bet there will be a couple to interest a lot of big blade guys.
