A discussion has come up elsewhere regarding the 110 and the different blade steels (420HC etc) that have been used for the off-the-shelf PRODUCTION models over the years.
I need to get this as a chronological sequence starting in 1961 if anyone here has such a list or can point me directly to said information.
Thanks in advance!

Blade's Guide to Knives and Their Values has the most information available on Buck knives. 1964 to 1981- 440C, 1981-1992 425M, and in 1992 Buck phased in 420HC.

BG42 or ATS34 can be subsituted in the Buck custom shop on 110's
Damascus and 154CMP will be available this summer(and summer is close)

Does this apply to all model's of Buck's.

I believe the steel time line applies to most models, but there are alot of oddities, and a handfull of the very rares, and I'm sure stocks had to be depleted, before newer steel went into production.
